Kernersville Dinning

You are gonna love Inlow’s Country Market & Deli

Fresh food, nostalgic atmosphere and friendly service.  I met some friends at Inlow’s Country Market & Deli located at 234 n. Main Street, Kernersville, NC  and was thrilled with the experience.  First of all, anytime I meet with my “YaYa” friends, it is a thrilling experience.  We have been friends for 20 plus years.  Our friendship began when we started traveling together for Prudential Conferences and Education Events.  We select an activity each month and it usually centers around eating!  It could be said we enjoy eating as much as we do our friendship.  We catch up on each other’s lives, share real estate and grand-kid stories, laugh, cry and pray together.  Friendship is one of life’s greatest joys.  Another one is FOOD!

Anyway, the newest dining experience in Kernersville (K’ville) is Inlow’s Country Market & Deli.  As you enter, you will feel taken back to a quiter, peaceful times which seems to be an overall theme for the small town of Kernsersville.  Situated in the center of the Triad and known as  the Heart of the Triad.  The character and charm of the creaky hardwood floors and simplicity are welcoming and refreshing.  A menu board with today’s specials made me want to try everything.

The shelves are full of  herbs, pickles, jams and candies that my mother’s generation enjoyed.   Pickled Okra, Shoe-fly Pie Mix,  dry goods, dried fruit – wish I knew how to make my Granny’s fried apple pies!  So, you can shop and have lunch too.  I enjoyed one  of the the best Rueben Sandwiches I have ever had.  I will go back again and again for that sandwich.  The Deli part of this little County Store features Troyer meats and cheeses  straight from Amish County in Ohio and Pennsylvania.  If you have ever experienced the culinary expertise of the Amish, you will be transformed back to that experience.  Owners, Curt & Marsha Inlow moved to Kernersville from Ohio.  Marsha said she loves living in Kernersville and says North Carolina is beautiful.

You should try this charming little Kernersville Country Store and Deli.  You won’t be disappointed.  Any ideas for the YaYa’s next outing?
